Pre-Appointment Instructions for All Permanent Makeup Services
• If possible, do not take aspirin or other blood thinners 5-7 days before the
procedure to prevent bleeding. Non-aspirin pain relievers may be taken up to one
hour prior to the procedure.
IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT discontinue any medications that is prescribed by a
physician or doctor, which are necessary for your health!
â–ª Avoid alcohol & CAFFEINE 24 hours prior to the procedure to prevent bleeding
â–ª If you have a condition that requires you to take antibiotics before a dental visit,
you must check with your doctor to determine if antibiotics are needed for
permanent cosmetics
â–ª Botox and skin plumping injections such as Restylane may alter the shape of
permanent cosmetics. You must wait at least 2 weeks after getting Botox to do
your brows.
â–ª Skin treatments such as Retin-A that thin the skin in the procedure area must
be discontinued for at least 30 days prior to the procedure. Check with your
dermatologist about specific medications.
â–ª Accutane users must be off Accutane for at least ONE year.
â–ª Procedures cannot be performed over fresh sunburns, including those caused
by tanning beds, or being in the sun during the summer. You must wait until the
burn heals.
â–ª (For Microblading) Please avoid waxing or tweezing your eyebrows for two weeks is preferred to see how your hair grows naturally. You may come to your appointment with or without makeup. Sometimes it helps to see how you like to draw on your eyebrows, but pictures will suffice as well.
